Knapstrupper Foal by Schleich

Knapstrupper foal by Schleich. Hand painted animal figurine by Scheich from the Horse Club collection.

Model 13890.

9.1cm x 3.3cm x 8.2cm.

Knapstrupper foals are born already with their characteristic black spots. But not all Knapstruppers look the same. Although most have a white coat under black spots, some Knapstruppers have a snowflake pattern, which is the exact reverse: white spots on a dark coat.

Fun fact: A Knapstrupper’s spots undergo small changes over the years.

Schleich products are made of various plastics and dyes, which are carefully selected to meet the respective requirements. Most typically plastics used are polyvinyl chloride (PVC), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), in addition to other plastics typical for toys. Even the material suppliers are subject to strict controls by our quality officers. The dyes used are optimally adapted to the different types of plastic and demonstrate top-rate mechanical and chemical resistance. They ensure the high durability of Schleich products and make all Schleich pieces saliva and sweat proof as well as abrasion-resistant, and thus ensure that they are completely safe for playing with. Only once a product meets fully all international laws, standards and guidelines for toys is it released for production. All Schleich articles and materials comply with the national and international toy requirements applicable worldwide, as well as the new European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and DIN EN 71.

We love Schleich’s realistic animal figures, a quality toy that stimulates the child’s imagination as well as teaching them about animals and wildlife.
